I am looking forward to hosting 10 events with three different guests across the country in November. Carlton Kirby, Matt Rendell and Emily Chappell are all great guests, each taking the audience into a world of their own making. Hopefully you can make it to one of our nights – Carlton in East Anglia, Matt everywhere from Gloucester to Harwich and Emily in Yorkshire. I’m hoping to bring all three to other parts of the country next year so please pitch in if you have any magic venues near you that would work for This Sort of Thing.
So: Eurosport commentary box doyen Carlton Kirby brings a funny and revealing night for all cycling fans to the King Street Cinema, Ipswich on November 1 and Maddermarket Theatre in Norwich on November 2.
Then: ITV Tour de France commentator Matt Rendell brings shows mixing thought-provoking reflections with crazy true-life stories to Oxford (November 8) Harwich (November 9), Gloucester (November 14), Winchester (November 16) and Reading (November 17).
Finally: inspirational two-wheeled adventurer Emily Chappell joins me in York (Tuesday 22 November), Bingley (Wednesday 23 November) and Sheffield (Thursday 24 November).
Tickets are £12 in most venues (but £13 in Ipswich and Norwich).
