After two sell-out nights with Steve in Oxford and Chiswick back in September, I am very pleased to say we have confirmed a local gig for him at Heswall Hall on The Wirral, close to where he grew up. This takes place on December 1 – which, in case it matters, does not clash with any of England’s football World Cup games. Steve will be discussing his rise from racing as a junior on The Wirral to riding as a pro in the world’s biggest races for two decades – winning stages in the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana, to follow up his Olympic silver medal. It was so great to have Steve as a guest in Oxford and Chiswick: having joined Team Sky in its first year of operation, Steve is now directeur sportif of Ineos-Grenadiers and was able to offer a unique (and maybe surprisingly candid) inside view of the top level of cycling over the last 20 years.
I am hoping to do more events with Steve in 2023 but his schedule is obviously busy and apt to change – this is our only date currently confirmed, so if you are keen, please do try to make it. Tickets are £13 (including booking fee), ticket and book deal £26 (RRP of the book is £20). You can also pre-order dinner (much raved about from previous nights at the hall, apparently…) for just £8.50, as well.
Hi Duncan
Any plans for any Carlton dates in the Home Counties for 2023?
Cheers Adele
