A special evening to celebrate the music of Talk Talk, with Ben Wardle, author of ‘A Perfect Silence’, the acclaimed biography of the late Mark Hollis.

Talk Talk evolved from early 80s synthpop hitmakers to become ambient and experimental post-rock innovators, whose reputation and influence has continued to grow ever since. Ben’s book is the first in-depth biography of Mark Hollis, tracing his intriguing creative journey and his unique and intense working methods. ‘

After the interval, there will also be a playback of Talk Talk’s classic album Spirit of Eden, recreating the studio atmosphere in which it was recorded – in darkness with the room lit only by abstract images from an oil projector.
