Pulp guitarist Mark Webber introduces the paperback edition of his history of the band, ‘I’m with Pulp, Are You?’.

Both Mark and Pulp have unique stories within pop: it took Pulp 13 years after their formation to achieve national recognition. Mark, who started as a 14-year-old fan in Pulp’s early days, ended up in the band for their biggest successes in the mid-90s – and all the way through to their current, triumphant comeback, with their No 1 album ‘More’ and a sell-out arena tour.

‘I’m With Pulp, Are You?’ is a lavishly illustrated celebration of the band, drawing on Mark’s collection of 40 years’ worth of archival objects, ephemera and images.

The revised and expanded paperback edition features recently discovered images and brings the Pulp story up-to-date with recent tours and the recording of ‘More’.

In these special events, slotted in between the band’s British and European summer festival shows, Mark will be reflecting on Pulp’s 40-year career and his part in it in conversation with journalist and longtime fan Duncan Steer, previously host of talk nights with Baxter Dury, Nick Lowe, Don Letts and Pulp drummer Nick Banks.

There will be a chance to ask your own questions.
