What an entertaining evening. We (me and Mrs K) decided to take my 97 year old father in law, Peter Hewitt. A lifetime cyclist, joined Hainault Roads Club aged 14 in 1941. Is a former club president and still a member! Veteran timekeeper, marshall and results board keeper of events throughout Essex and beyond. Now almost blind, Pete follows Le Tour and the Giro avidly. He thoroughly enjoyed the show. Meryl, as a cycling club orphan, and me as a very casual observer of the tour also enjoyed the interview on a very human level. Thank you both for a great evening’s entertainment.
